Rishi and Manrina's Roka Wedding:
Raishma says,
"I was very happy to be asked to design and create an outfit for Rishi Rich and his fiancee Manrina, for their Roki ceremony.
Manrina was very easy to work with and came up with ideas to create something truly stunning! She tried on different styles that I already had in the store, dresses and two piece outfits. Manrina has a fantastic figure; hour glass, and she is very petite, so I decided that a more fitted skirt would be most flattering for her.
Gold embroidery with delicate stone work encrusted the coset bodice and straps. The skirt was designed to reflect a sari feel, with pleating detail to one side of the skirt. The matching organza stoal had embroidery on the crown and on the short edges. As you can see from the images below she looked beautful.
Rishi loved my menswear collection in store too! He was not intending to wear a traditonal outfit for this day, but he really liked a black three-quarter length jacket with very delicate threadwork embroidery all over it that he saw on display. We then adapted this style to suit Rishi. He opted for black raw-silk tailorered trousers to finish off the look.
The engagement was held at Manrina’s parents’ garden in a marquee, with 120 close relatives and guests. Loved ones arrived with trays and baskets of gifts and the celebrations began!
