Raishma X KindHeART Charity Fashion Show
Renowned designer Raishma Islam collaborated with KindHeART, a charity that empowers and improves the lives of vulnerable children, to show her stunning range of dresses in a fashion show at their annual fundraising event. The theme, ‘La Fete du Mode’, was inspired by the French fashion of Coco Chanel and consisted of a private viewing of Gabrielle Chanel: Fashion Manifesto, followed by a meal at Restaurant "Ours" and an exclusive fashion show by Raishma where she debuted her range of Raishma Studio, Raishma London and Raishma Couture.
The day brought together 160 inspiring and accomplished women with a shared goal of fundraising for children facing physical challenges in Kenya and India, as well as for New Hope Watford; an organisation that supports the homeless through the winter. This included a viewing of Raishma’s captivating collections which certainly enchanted the audience. From fun and casual printed dresses to intricately embellished couture, there was something for everyone.
It truly was an event to remember, not only for the fabulous fashion but also for bringing a community of women together and providing the opportunity to help empower those less fortunate.
